Welcome
The Oregon Academy of General Dentistry (OAGD) has been offering training in parenteral (IV) moderate (conscious) sedation for twenty years. The course will be held in Tigard (Portland), OR at the new Oregon Academy of General Dentistry facility.

Didactic:

NOTE: You will attend both didactic sessions and one of the two clinic sessions.
Critical Clinical Information:

You must bring at least two dental assistants for the entirety of the clinic sessions. Also, you are strongly encouraged to bring your assistants for all of the didactic sessions. They will benefit from this information and there is no additional tuition charged for your first two assistants. Additional assistants beyond two are assessed a small fee to cover our expenses.

In this course you will have 23 patients scheduled and you will do everything involved in each procedure. That means you will start the IV on each of your cases. You will titrate drug to effect for each patient, then you will do dentistry for each patient. You will be taught single and multiple drug techniques in this course.
